Our Founding Partners
Deepa Tanna is a dynamic business leader and strategist with over two decades of multifaceted experience across financial services, media, education, and management consulting. A Post Graduate in Strategic Management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K), Deepa brings a rare blend of corporate acumen, entrepreneurial vision, and transformative leadership.
Her professional journey began in the financial sector, where she honed her expertise in sales and client management with HDFC Asset Management Company and ICICI Prudential AMC in Mumbai. She later transitioned into the fast-paced world of financial information and media, joining Newswire18, a Network18 subsidiary positioned as India’s homegrown competitor to Reuters and Bloomberg.
At Newswire18, Deepa played a pivotal role in product development and later took charge as Head of Strategy, Planning & Implementation, where she spearheaded initiatives in global expansion and business transformation. She was a key contributor during the organization’s critical evolution, from Crisil MarketWire, a CRISIL Ltd subsidiary, into Newswire18 under the Network18 umbrella, and subsequently during its transition into Cogencis, a venture backed by Samara Capital, where she also served as a Managing Committee Member.
After a highly successful corporate career, Deepa founded Tanna Advisory, an investment advisory firm, where she combined her deep financial insight with personalized wealth strategies. Deepa also simultaneously, channeled her passion for education and societal development into founding the Tanna Trust, through which she established DBS | BMS, a Bachelor’s in Management Studies program affiliated with the University of Mumbai in Dahanu. Under her leadership, the institution thrived for over a decade, blending academic rigor with strategic innovation and community impact.
Today, as Founding Partner of FutureScape Partners, Deepa leverages her extensive experience to guide organizations through business transformation, globalization, and leadership transitions. Her strategic foresight, cross-sector expertise, and deep understanding of emerging markets continue to shape businesses across India, Asia, and beyond.
Punam Naik is an accomplished business leader and data management strategist with an exceptional career spanning financial information services, data analytics, and business consulting. A Master’s degree holder in Financial Management from the University of Mumbai, Punam has built her reputation on precision, leadership, and a deep understanding of financial market data across asset classes. She began her professional journey with Crisil MarketWire, a CRISIL Ltd subsidiary, as its first data reporter, quickly distinguishing herself for her analytical acumen and operational excellence. Over the years, she rose to lead the organization’s entire data division, becoming Head of Data at Cogencis. Under her leadership, the data team grew from a single-member unit to a formidable force of over 100+ data reporters, delivering real-time intelligence across equity, debt, money markets, commodities, and corporate databases.
Punam was the fulcrum of data operations at Newswire18, the Network18 subsidiary that evolved from Crisil MarketWire, where her team powered core products and served as a key revenue centre, including conducting spot market commodity polling for the NCDEX exchange. Her contributions were instrumental through multiple organizational transitions, from Crisil MarketWire to Newswire18, and later during its evolution into Cogencis, a Samara Capital–backed venture.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she also played a critical role in guiding the company through its next strategic phase when Cogencis was acquired by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and rebranded as NSE Cogencis.
After a highly successful corporate career, Punam founded FinPulse, an investment advisory firm, where she combined her deep financial insight with personalized wealth strategies.
